🍓 Fresh Strawberry Pie (No Jello!)

🥐 Pie Crust

Option 1 (Easy):

1 baked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Option 2 (Homemade Graham Cracker Crust):

1½ cups crushed graham crackers

⅓ cup melted butter

¼ cup sugar

👉 Mix, press into pan, bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes, cool completely.

🍓 Strawberry Filling

Ingredients

4–5 cups fresh strawberries, washed & hulled

¾ cup water

¾ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

3 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Blend 1½ cups strawberries into a smooth puree.

In a saucepan, whisk:

Strawberry puree

Water

Sugar

Cornstarch

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and glossy (5–7 minutes).

Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice & vanilla.

Let the mixture cool slightly (warm, not hot).

Arrange remaining whole strawberries inside the pie crust.

Pour the strawberry glaze over the berries, gently spreading to coat.

Chill at least 3–4 hours until fully set.
